Hairball
I was cleaning up the room when I saw some kind of poop-like substance on my guy’s white polo shirt. I laughed when I saw it, because I had assumed it was poop and wondered what his reaction would be. Naturally, he wasn’t pleased, but laughed it off and picked up Finn. But when he examined his shirt closely, he realized it wasn’t poop but a dried-up hairball (but it looked kind of disgusting just the same).
Well anyway, now I know what a hairball looks like. Of course, I don’t want to see any more of them, because I also don’t want to see or hear Finn suffer when she tries to puke them out. I actually didn’t think she’d be prone to this because we brush her (semi-long) hair practically every day. Apparently though, that’s not enough. It was suggested that I give a hairball control formula cat food or some grass to chew on. Although according to others, the current brand of cat food I’m giving to Finn is a pretty good anti-hairball formula.
I haven’t noticed any hairballs recently, so all seems to be going well. Hopefully things will go smoothly from here on out.
